Not trying to be dramatic…but this body oil changed my life.

Aaaaah!!  I have so many strong feelings about this body oil and I don’t know how best to describe this oil and do it justice.

I would have never thought that I’d almost exclusively use body oil over body lotion. Seriously, never. One of my old coworkers who, like me, is always up for trying any new beauty product — sent me a picture of this and said this Coco Shea oil was the best thing she’s every used. Obviously, I had to try it and seriously is there anything that sounds as delicious as coco/ shea/ honey oil?

Get this – it’s from Bath and Body Works. I literally had to make a special trip (map it out and everything!) to pick a bottle of this up. I’m not going to lie – I was kind of a huge snob about the whole thing.. how good can a Bath & Body Works oil realllllly be?

Turns out… this oil is so good that after about a week of using it- I went right back to the store (because there was a coupon…yup I’m now signed up for Bath & Body Works coupons) and picked up two more bottles. Ya know, just in case something happens and they run out.

Top reasons why I love this:

  • The smell is seriously amazing. I rub this everywhere when I get out of the shower or before I leave for the day. It isn’t overpowering!
  • It truly is “lightweight” – I never feel sticky or like if I bump into something it’ll leave a little oily mark. I also put my clothes on top of this and it hasn’t been an issue.
  • This bottle has been going strong for about two months! I feel like I use a good amount every time I apply it – and it’s probably a little more than half full.
  • You get this subtle hydrated glow… which is more than any lotion has ever done for me. It’s beautiful on the skin.
  • This is so warm weather friendly! This oil > all lotions

Other thoughts:

  • This comes in three scents: honey (clearly #1), cucumber, and coconut. They all smell great but the honey oil is just everything.
  • The one place I need extra hydration after using the oil is my elbows. I do feel like it’s maybe too lightweight of an oil in that section!
  • The price is up there….A bottle of this $16.50! The good news is Bath & Body Works always has sales and both times I purchased these I didn’t pay full price.

This has to be one of the best suggestions I’ve received in a very long time! I don’t see myself switching back to lotion anytime soon…it’s that good.
